WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

Ribble Cottage in the Ribble Valley was highly recommended by friends who regularly stay. The cottage is exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location is well placed for walks from the doorstep to Deanclough reservoir including Clitheroe Castle and Holmes Mill where delicious food & drink await. A drive through the Trough of Bowland is so picturesque plus an icecream in the pretty village of Downham.
Howarth and the Bronte Parsonage offers walks on the moors, steam railway and independent shops.
So much to see and explore. Looking forward to returning.

WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

We absolutely loved staying at Ribble cottage. We stayed for 3 weeks where Anna, Graham and Ian were excellent hosts - providing the perfect balance of privacy and space but always there if we needed. Anna welcomed our children and made their holiday extra special with a huge box of toys for them to enjoy whilst at the cottage - this was greatly appreciated, thank you.
The cottage was immaculate and had everything we could need. The grounds are stunning and nestled in the countryside.
We will definitely be staying at Oakdean Cottages again.
Thank you so much x

WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

A wonderful cottage, extremely clean & modern, set in beautiful well kept grounds. No noise from cars etc, quiet & peaceful, a stunning garden surrounded by mature trees & lots of wildlife. A credit to the manager Anna who is very pleasant & helpful. The cottage is in a beautiful area with the most breathtaking views from the entrance road. Nearby pretty villages, most have fantastic pubs who serve excellent food, you really are spoilt for choice in this regard. Northcote Manor Michelin star restaurant is less than a mile away. The Rum Fox at Grindleton is worth a mention, fantastic food & service. I would highly recommend staying at Oakdean cottages if you appreciate high standards in a holiday home, a quiet beautiful location, a very pleasant owner who is very responsive if needed & a truly breathtaking area in the Ribble valley. Clitheroe town is 15 minutes away for all your grocery needs. Many pretty villages all within easy driving distance. Great area for walkers or foodies. Ribble cottage was perfect for us, we will return.

WHAT OUR GUESTS SAY

Thank you again for a wonderful stay. This is our second time staying in Calder Cottage with our dog and it’s really like home from home for us. We stayed for three nights and didn’t want to leave, it’s such a gorgeous comfortable place. So quiet and peaceful and well equipped. Ian came to see us when we arrived and left - such a nice guy. We will definitely be back and can’t wait to see the fantastic views from the garden over the Ribble valley.
Thank you again
