Snug and inviting, Calder Cottage is a quintessential country abode with plenty of nooks and countryside views. Perfect for couples and families with small children it's also our only cottage that is dog friendly.

Lovingly referred to as the 'cosy one', Calder has a kitchen equipped with plentiful appliances including a washer, dryer, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.

There's everything you might need to self cater including a dining table that comfortably seats four.

The quiet and comfy lounge offers up views of the large garden which can be accessed through double patio doors.

All cottages have WIFI, a flat screen Freeview TV, DVD Player and Amazon Firestick to keep the entire family entertained.

Electric Oven and Hob, Microwave, Fridge Freezer, Water Filter, Coffee Machine, Dishwasher, Washer & Dryer, WiFi, Flat Screen TV, DVD Player, Clothes Dryer, Hairdryer, Iron & Ironing Board, Bed Linen Provided, Cleaning Equipment, Hoover.

Children of all ages are welcome. We offer high chairs, cots, changing mats, child bed rails and a selection of toys free of charge. For guests with accessibility or mobility needs we supply grab rails and shower seats on request.

All of our cottages have off street parking and access to our Voltshare EV Charging Point.

There are outdoor furnishings, a parasol and a gas BBQ available on the private patio.

All of our cottages are Non Smoking. Calder Cottage is our only cottage that is dog friendly.

Is there parking?

Yes we have ample free and secure off street parking. If you plan to bring more than one vehicle it's always best to let us know so we can ensure there is enough space for you and other guests. Our main gates are automated with number plate recognition so don't forget to provide us with your number plate shortly before your stay.

If your car is electric, you can take advantage of our Voltshare EV Charging Point.

Simply search 'Voltshare' on IOS on Android to download the Voltshare App.

Are the cottages suitable for wheelchair users or for guests with mobility issues?

Hodder and Ribble Cottage are narrow wheelchair accessible with double bi-fold doors and double walk in showers. Our wardrobes and drawers are low enough for assisted seating and we can provide a shower seat and moveable grab rails upon request.

As there are no stairs to navigate and have an open plan design, both cottages are suitable for wheelchair users.

Can I check-in earlier or check-out later?

We are always keen to ensure the cottage is ready for your stay so we ask guests to check in no earlier than 3pm on the day of arrival and to check out no later than 11am on the day of departure.

You are more than welcome to arrive earlier or stay later providing we don’t have anyone leaving or joining us either side of your booking. Feel free to check a few days before you arrive and we will do all we can to accommodate you.

Do you allow pets?

We love pets of all kinds, brilliantly behaved or otherwise! As much as we would love to welcome your furry friends and family members across all of our cottages we reserve some pet free space for anyone with allergies or less keen.

Calder Cottage is dog friendly (maximum 2 x dogs) for an additional fee of £10 per dog per night.

Sadly we do not allow pets, even the cutest, in either Hodder or Ribble Cottage.
