An Excellent Cottage And Super Cottages
We stayed in Hodder Cottage for a long weekend whilst celebrating a wedding nearby. The cottage was very comfortable and practical - we were delighted. There were lots of nice touches - the welcome pack and games and activities for the family. The cottage is modern and well designed. The garden pretty and with a summer house too. Sue and Ian were really friendly and helpful. The area is set in attractive countryside. All in all, a great place to stay.

Calder Cottage

A wonderful cottage on top of the hill, quiet tranquil and beautiful place to stay. Ian and Sue are lovely - there if you need them otherwise they respect your personal space and leave you to it. Truly lovely hosts . We will definitely be back

Family Celebration
In town for a family birthday celebration, we booked Hodder Cottage while my brother and family booked Ribble Cottage so that all the kids could spend time with their cousins, who they hadn’t seen for several years due to lockdown restrictions. The cottages were very well equipped, and the hosts were friendly and helpful. It was a pleasure to stay here and we would gladly book again.

Weekend Away
Hodder cottage is a fabulous very comfortable cottage equipped with everything you could possibly want in a beautiful location. We stayed as a family attending a wedding at Mitton Hall. Ian and Sue made us very welcome. The cottage is spotlessly clean we had a wonderful stay and will definitely book again definitely 5 star rating from us. The Ashton Family

Barbara And Family
I chose a Lancashire location as it is a good half way meeting point for the family to get together.
Hodder Cottage is lovely with plenty of room for everyone. Very clean, comfortable, warm and very well equipped. My grandchildren played happily with the toys Sue kindly left out for us.
I would recommend these cottages to anyone. Very peaceful surroundings and we hope to be back again one day soon.

Family Wedding
We booked two cottages as we were all attending a family wedding and both were superb. The cottages were immaculate, the beds were the comfiest I've slept in and the pillows were unbelievably soft! The cottages were equipped with everything you'd ever need - for a two week stay let alone a long weekend. We were struggling to get a taxi to take us to the wedding and Ian even kindly drove us down to ensure we got there on time! Thank you so much for a wonderful few days - we would highly recommend and hope to return again to explore the area.

Xmas Break
What can I say this is the best cottage we have ever stayed in and we go away every Xmas to all sorts of cottages. We have stayed at Higher Walls and we didn't think that could be beaten but it has. Very very clean with everything you need. Ian and Sue are top hosts - plenty of parking and shopping malls near by. Lovely pubs near by eg the black bull and just a short walk around the grounds and you can see the alpaca's and sheep. Underfloor heating and automatic fill bath including 3 lovely bedrooms all with tv's and a table for laptop - comfy seating area and a beautiful kitchen. Thank you Ian and sue for the gifts - we will definitely book again. Didn't really want to leave this review as this place is our hidden gem. Thank you again we had a beautiful stay here xxx

I Thought The Cottage Was Brand New
I have stayed in a lot of cottages and this one was the cleanest I have ever been in. I thought it was brand new and been renovated during lockdown however it hadn’t. This is how clean it always is! Lovely and warm with every mod con available. Fabulous private location and Sue couldn’t do enough for us. I will definitely return and recommend
